Hypnosis Without Trance is a modern, precision approach to facilitating hypnotic experiences and opening up the possibilities for profound change that can unfold from them. 'Without Trance' refers to the bypassing of the traditional requirement to induce a special 'state of hypnosis' in order to generate desired hypnotic effects, instead working directly with cognitive processes that create them.

As such, Hypnosis Without Trance takes a strategic and tactical approach to hypnotic work that transcends the traditional (and unnecessarily limiting) approach of ‘hypnotic induction’, freeing us to go directly and creatively for the phenomena we want.

To become proficient in the HWT approach to hypnosis is, put simply, to become proficient at moving minds and shifting experiences.

The majority of people undertaking this program do so for the purposes of either becoming effective people developers/personal change agents (hypnotherapy, coaching etc.) OR simply to develop the ability to create powerful and personal magical experiences for people (impromptu hypnosis, street shamanics, mentalism etc.) A small subset are interested in what the 'psychology of hypnosis' can teach them about sales and general influence, but this is not a specialism of the program.

There are three primary areas in which the HWT approach offers an advantage over more traditional approaches:

Increased Success Rates - by tailoring the work to fit the cognitive styles, worldview and values sets of the individual and working with in-built 'no-fail protocols' you will be able to create hypnotic experiences where other hypnotists would fail.

HWT comes from my own explorations in the arenas of both hypnotherapy and street hypnosis, but has many influences upon it, including: taoism, mentalism, neurolinguistics and NLP, Ericksonian hypnosis, classical direct hypnosis, Kieth Johnstone's Impro philosophy and the work of David Grove (linguistics and Clean facilitation).

Hypnotherapy Heresy comprises approximately 10 hours of video sessions recorded from a 2014 live training. 

Different people work through the materials in this program at different rates, and in different orders. Some people have very specialist interests and so they can be quite focussed in what they want to get, and when they get it they move on. Others choose to dive deep and stay in the program as it serves them in continuing to deepen their skills and understandings. There is no right or wrong with this - the program is here to work for you however you choose to work with it.
